Abstract (E): This paper explores the role of photography in d'Hervé Guibert's autofictions. Given the fact that Guibert has gained notoriety as both writer and photographer, it is most interesting to have a closer look at the possible dialogue between texts and images in his work. After having highlighted the autofictive strategies in Guibert's oeuvre, in particular in Voyage avec deux enfants (1982) and À l'ami qui ne m'a pas sauvé la vie (1990), we will demonstrate the importance of photography in Guiberts (written) work. He is, in fact, the author of a "photo-novel" entitled Suzanne et Louise (1980), as well as a text on photography (that is equally autobiographical): L'Image fantôme (1981). Finally, we will look at the photographic works of Guibert himself, showing that they are the visual equivalent of his literary autofictive approach, which we may name a "auto-photo-fictio-graphy".

Abstract (F): Cette contribution cherche à déterminer le statut de la photographie dans l'oeuvre autofictionnelle d'Hervé Guibert. Dans la mesure où l'auteur s'est distingué tout autant comme écrivain que comme photographe, il est intéressant de s'interroger sur ce qui relève d'une dialogue entre textes et images dans son travail. Après avoir évoqué les dispositifs autofictionnels chez Hervé Guibert en nous appuyant notamment sur Voyage avec deux enfants (1982) et À l'ami qui ne m'a pas sauvé la vie (1990), nous révélons l'importance de la photographie dans l'oeuvre de Guibert. Il est en effet l'auteur d'un " roman-photo " intitulé Suzanne et Louise (1980), ainsi que d'un texte sur la photographie (qui relève tout autant de l'autobiographie) : L'Image fantôme (1981). Nous interrogeant enfin sur les propres photographies de l'auteur, nous tentons de démontrer qu'elles se font l'équivalent visuel d'une démarche littéraire autofictionnelle, relevant de ce que nous nommons une " auto-photo-fictio-graphie ".
